Reaper is great class for beginners and its pretty simple Axe/Warhorn because axe does a lot of damage and GS for cc and big dmg. You can very easily build up vulnerability and then burst enemies down. or you couild go into reaper shroud after that for even bigger damage and keep doing 1 and 2 for massive damage. The trademark class of the Guild Wars series and one of the most unique, subtle and deadly classes in any game. Frustrate foes, counter their strategies, and look good doing it. Mesmers have two varieties of Illusions they can summon to fool enemies and fuel their attacks. Guardian is arguably the best profession due to how many roles and viable builds it has but is not as beginner friendly. It has a lot of defensive abilities but low health so it can be rough if you slip up. Still, it's more newbie friendly than most of the roster. All that said, it's not really worth switching out of necro if you're new. 3. Core Minion Necromancer - PvE. The Core Minion Necromancer build lets you hang out with the gang and make quick work of most of the content in open-world PvE. Minion Master Necromancers have been a mainstay for the game in various game modes, but they have always found their place in PvE. Thief has insane passive lifesteal/healing, a lot of one button evade/attack combos, can teleport to targets, and if you're not going into PVP is generally easy to play. PVP thief has a very high skillgap, but in open world PVE it's a pretty simple class. If you go Deadeye, rifle is a LOT of damage in an easy rotation, and you can have a very depends on the kind of soloing you want to do. first of all you don't need friends to do content, there are random people around you playing the game willing to join activities (in some cases it can't be avoided in open world maps). you don't have to communicate or anything. secondly every class has viable builds for solo play, that is the point of the game. that every class can cover every RxyaOJ. A wide variety of great and good GW2 builds and guides for all classes. Section builds are up to date for the November 28, 2023 game patch. Great. Defensive Condizerker Roamer. 4. Defense Bladesworn Roamer. 3.5. MY TWITCH - Heyo, so I was active a long time ago in the core days of GW2 before expansions, I played a little bit of HoT when it came out as well. I am the type that likes to get attached to one character and mainly use them for all things, so I was wondering what the community would recommend as a class for like longevity as in good with metas like PVP, Fractals, Bosses, Raids, maybe good flexibility or Mesmer has great tools for ranged combat, is super mobile and has the amazing portal that allows allies to move between 2 points (great to help others or yourself in jumping puzzles). Mesmer is one of the most unique classes in gw2 as an illusion magician and very fun but also very skill testing. Currently Playing: Project Zomboid, Dead By Daylight, Kenshi, etc. Top 3 Favorite Games: Guild Wars 2, Mass Effect 2, BioShock.
